A: No, you can not ice fish at the Bar ZX Ranch. In 1994 and 1995, Dean allowed ice fishing at the ranch. However, ice fishing actually killed more fish than anglers caught. This was because fish that were hooked and released sometimes did not make it as they were not put back into the water properly. So rather than lose more fish than what was caught, Dean decided to not allow ice fishing at the ranch. Q: Can I wade into the water to fish? A: No, we do not allow wading in the lakes to fish. The reason we do not allow wading in the lakes to fish is be able to keep the lakes clean. |
